Emerald Trail Elementary School

Knutson partnered with the Rosemount–Apple Valley–Eagan School District to deliver Emerald Trail Elementary School, the District’s 20th elementary school, expanding capacity to meet the needs of its growing student population. The new facility is organized around a centralized media center, with grade-level classroom pods extending outward to create efficient circulation and collaborative learning environments. Daylighting was prioritized throughout the building to enhance student experience and energy performance. The school also includes dedicated pre-K spaces and specialized areas for physical education, art, and music, providing a well-rounded environment designed to support both learning and community engagement.
