Celebrating the Grand Reopening of the Buffalo Tower at Treasure Island Resort & Casino
In mid-February, we celebrated another exciting milestone with Treasure Island Resort & Casino and the Prairie Island Indian Community, the grand reopening of the newly remodeled Buffalo Tower. The ribbon-cutting brought together community leaders, the Treasure Island team, Knutson’s project team, and our president, Brendan Moore.
The event had a strong turnout and highlighted the excitement surrounding the renovation. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests had the opportunity to tour the updated tower and experience the newly renovated guest rooms and spaces. The ribbon cutting took place in the elevator lobby, symbolizing the refreshed look that visitors from all over will now enjoy.
Behind the scenes, this project came with some unique challenges for our team. The seven-floor renovation took place while the resort remained fully operational. Thanks to careful planning, tight coordination, and constant communication, our team kept things running smoothly for guests while work continued safely.
We’re proud to say the project was completed ahead of schedule, without compromising quality or safety, even in a live hotel environment.
This project also came full circle for Team Blue. We built the original Buffalo Tower nearly 30 years ago and have since partnered with Treasure Island on more than 100 projects.
We’re honored to continue working alongside the Treasure Island team and supporting their vision for the future of the resort!
