Two Knutson Project Teams Receive Recent MNSHARP Awards

Recently, two of our project teams celebrated receiving an MNSHARP award from the Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MNOSHA): our Andersen Proton Therapy Building team in Rochester and our Chanhassen project team.

MNSHARP is a program from MNOSHA that honors construction companies for their collaborative efforts in developing safety and health programs that exceed basic compliance standards. Only construction projects of at least 18 months in length are eligible for the MNSHARP Award Program.

“At Knutson safety is the cornerstone of every successful construction project. Through the MNSHARP Program, Knutson and our Trade Partners were able to partner OSHA and together develop site specific safety and health programs that go well beyond basic compliance. Achieving MNSHARP Certification is a testament to Knutson’s effort to build our Zero Incident Safety Culture where we encourage all of our team members and trade partners to speak up about unsafe conditions or practices and strive for continuous improvement. Thank you MNSHARP!” – Knutson’s Chanhassen Project Team

This is the 11th MNSHARP award that a Knutson project has received. Some other recent projects awarded include the University of Minnesota Microbial Cell Production Facility and the Mayo Clinic’s Anna Maria and Stephen Kellen Building.
