Construction Inclusion Week 2025

At Knutson Construction, we are using Construction Inclusion Week as an opportunity to pause and celebrate the people who make our job sites and offices welcoming places to work.

This week, we asked our team members to share what inclusion means to them and how they feel supported here at Knutson. Hearing their stories reminded us that everyone brings something different to the table, and that mix of skills, experiences, and perspectives makes us better together. These were some of the questions that prompted their thoughts:

  • How has being part of an inclusive team impacted your career or daily work?
  • What’s one moment where you felt especially included or supported on the job?
  • How do you see diversity and inclusion making our teams stronger?
  • How can the construction industry continue to improve when it comes to inclusion?
  • What’s one small action everyone can take to make job sites more inclusive?
  • How do you see respect and inclusion play out day-to-day on the job site?

Hearing directly from our team members reminds us how deeply inclusion shapes who we are at Knutson. Whether it’s celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month or something as simple as a friendly handshake in the office or on the jobsite, like Katie mentioned in a quote shared above, these moments reflect what inclusion truly means here. We’re proud to carry the spirit of Construction Inclusion Week forward and maintain that momentum throughout the year.
