Giving Back This Holiday Season at Knutson
The holiday season is a time for reflection, connection, and generosity. At Knutson Construction, we believe in giving back to our community in meaningful ways during the holidays.
One of the traditions we’re especially proud of is our annual donation to Toys for Tots, a Marine Corps program that collects toys for children in need. This year, both our Rochester and Minneapolis offices collected toys to help spread some holiday cheer to families who could use a little extra support.

While our commitment to community involvement extends throughout the year from the American Cancer Society to Hearts and Hammers and The Ronald McDonald House, the holiday season often inspires us to go the extra mile. We asked some of our team members how they give back during this time of year, and we’re excited to share their stories!
Donn Richardson, a Superintendent says his family rings bells for the Salvation Army. “We will dress up in our Christmas sweaters, bring a Bluetooth speaker, and play Christmas music, we hand out candy canes and we try to get into the Christmas spirit and get people to help donate.”
Stacey Albers, the Office Manager in Rochester says her family helps by serving the homeless community. “We use this time as an opportunity for our kids to give back during the holidays,” Albers says.
Nate Day, the Preconstruction Manager, is involved in the ACE Mentorship program, which introduces high school students to the fields of architecture, construction, and engineering. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see their journey from when they were in high school to now being colleagues in the industry,” says Day.
Whether it’s volunteering, donating, or simply offering a helping hand, our team members are dedicated to making a difference. We’re proud of the many ways our colleagues support local organizations and spread kindness during the season of giving.
From our team to yours, we wish you a wonderful holiday season!
