Intern Welcome Week 2024
Knutson kicked off the start of 2024’s summer intern session with a Welcome Week to remember on May 20th! 18 interns are joining Team Blue for the summer, scattered across all office / field locations in a variety of roles.
Starting on Monday, those in the 2024 Intern Connect Program participated in the following fun kick-off activities:

- Diversity & Inclusion Presentation
- The Knutson Experience and Safety training
- Presentations from Knutson’s Technology, Estimating / Preconstruction, Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Trade Services, and Operations teams
- Career Paths at Knutson exploration
- Intern introductions
- Escape Room activity
Knutson’s Intern Connect Program has recently been expanded to give participants an even more well-rounded experience, focused on growing their skills, networks, and confidence in a multitude of areas throughout the duration of their time with Team Blue. Over the next several months, interns will get to work on a variety of interesting Knutson projects, form relationships across Team Blue and beyond, and enjoy fun experiences like visiting ValleyFair, partaking in corporate-sponsored volunteerism opportunities, mixing with Senior Leadership at Top Golf, participating in a Mock Bid Day, touring the Anna-Maria & Stephen Kellen Building, and more. We’ll give more insight into how it’s going during our National Intern Day celebration in July, so be sure to check back in later!
