Kris Rubenzer

Kris Rubenzer joined Knutson in 2004, starting as a Project Engineer and working his way up through the organization before becoming a Project Executive in September 2023. He has over 20 years of industry experience, with the last decade of his career’s work focusing primarily on jobs in the healthcare market. He has worked on projects for clients like Mayo Clinic, Allina Health, and Marshfield Clinic during his time at Knutson.

In his position, Kris most enjoys working toward a common end goal with the skilled and experienced people that make up Team Blue. He believes his passion for success and dedication to providing The Knutson Experience make him a positive addition to any project and is a huge proponent of steadfast communication and collaboration in his work.

Kris holds a BS in Construction Management from University of Wisconsin Stout as well as LEED AP certification. He is also a member of the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) and Minnesota Healthcare Engineers Association.

Kris lives in Glenwood City, WI, with his wife Sarah. Together they have two children, Dan and Avery, and their black lab, Ember.  In his free time, Kris enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, working on physical fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
