Mark Custer

Mark joined Knutson Construction in October 2010 as a Project Manager and has since grown into a leadership role supporting our project teams and guiding efforts during preconstruction and RFP pursuits.

Over the years, Mark has worked across a variety of sectors, with a recent focus on Higher Education, K-12 schools, municipal projects like the Braemar Ice Arena, and service center-type facilities such as those for Xcel Energy.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He is  B+ Certified in the Best Value Approach, OSHA 30-Hour certified, and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Outside of work, Mark is a hockey coach and proud supporter of his twin 15-year-old sons, as they pursue their hockey passions. In the summer, you’ll find him at the cabin with family—fishing, boating, tackling projects, and enjoying the outdoors. In the fall, he looks forward to pheasant hunting with his boys and dog, Cooper.
