Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson joined Knutson in 2013, starting as a Project Engineer and working his way up through the organization before becoming a Project Executive in October 2023. He has over 10 years of industry experience in a multitude of markets, including healthcare and government, and has worked on distinguished projects in the city of Rochester, including Discovery Walk and Mayo Clinic’s Andersen Building, as well as in Mankato, like the Eide Bailly Center.

In his position, Michael manages each aspect of a project with respect, integrity, and a determination to have fun. He most enjoys relationship-building with all members of the project team, believing his easygoing attitude and dedication to success make him a trusted ally from the beginning of a project to its completion.

Michael holds a BS in Construction Management from University of Minnesota Moorhead and lives in Rochester with his wife Katelyn and their two children. Like many a Minnesotan, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
