Tim Jacobson

Tim joined Knutson in August 2016 as an Assistant Superintendent. Working his way up through the organization, he now holds the title of Self-Perform General Superintendent. Supporting Minneapolis Superintendents and all field personnel.

Tim has over 33 years of construction experience, with expertise in medical, hotels; life science; industrial, and multi-family. Some highlighted projects are UMN Masonic Institute of the Developing Brain, Minneapolis New Public Service Building, UMN Institute of Child Development, Treasure Island Wolf Tower Hotel, and Xcel Energy Chestnut Service Center.

He attended Winona State for 1 year and then decided to start working in construction. He started his career in SE Minnesota building houses in 1991 and then ventured to Eau Clare, WI, where he joined the union in 1997. 2 years later he relocated to Roseville, MN, and started working in the drywall industry, until joining Knutson.

His free time consists of supporting his two daughters, in all their school activities and sporting events. He also enjoys relaxing with his wife, Bridget, at their cabin in Southeast Minnesota. Their hobbies include DIY projects, traveling, and spending time with family.
