Torrey Kistler

Torrey Kistler initially joined Team Blue in 2015, working his way up through the organization before becoming the Director of Preconstruction for Knutson’s Rochester, Mankato, and Iowa offices in 2022. He has well over 30 years of industry experience and is a third-generation construction professional, holding a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from University of Wisconsin Stout as well as previous apprenticeship training in carpentry. He also has United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM) and Dale Carnegie Leadership Training certification.

In his position, Torrey enjoys mentoring team members and collaborating effectively to ensure a client’s needs are being addressed throughout the project development process. He believes his steadfast nature and innate ability to adapt quickly make him an asset to any project team. During his time at Knutson, he has assisted with master planning efforts for a multitude of clients including Mayo Clinic.

Outside of his work, Torrey enjoys spending time with his wife, Tami, their five children, and friends. His hobbies include working on home improvement projects, traveling, volunteering locally, and hunting.
