Ramona Wilson Named Notable BIPOC Executive

Ramona Wilson, Diversity Director at Knutson Construction, has been named a 2023 Notable BIPOC Executive by Twin Cities Business.

Twin Cities Business’ Notable BIPOC Executives program is a nomination-based recognition that brings to light BIPOC professionals who regularly effect change, share expertise, and exhibit leadership at their organizations and beyond. To qualify, nominees must self-identify as BIPOC, be serving in a C-suite or senior-level role in the state of Minnesota, have at least five years of experience in their current industry, and have shown the ability to create significant, positive, and measurable results in their field.

For Wilson, an honor like this is exceptionally sweet given her multi-year venture in the diversity, equity, and inclusion field of work in the construction industry, which can be a traditionally challenging space to push diversity efforts. Despite this, Knutson has grown to be recognized as an industry leader in DE&I, many thanks to Wilson’s unrelenting commitment and steadfast leadership.

Wilson’s efforts have also garnered her numerous personal accolades since she joined Knutson as the Diversity Director in 2013; most recently, she was named by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as both a Top 200 Black Leaders You Should Know and a 2023 Women in Business Honoree.

Twin Cities Business has published the list of its Notable BIPOC Executives on its website, which you can view here. Honorees are also recognized in the most recent print issue of the magazine, which was released on August 14, 2023.

Please join us in congratulating Ramona on this befitting honor!
