Preston Veterans Home

The Minnesota Veterans Home – Preston project is a new State Veterans Home to be constructed in Preston, Minnesota, serving 54 residents in a residential skilled care model.

MDVA is building three new State Veterans Homes in the communities of Bemidji, Montevideo and Preston. Construction is set to begin fall 2021 with an anticipated 18-month schedule to complete all three locations. Knutson has been selected as the General Contractor for the Montevideo and Preston Locations. The projects are proceeding with the support of funding from federal (65%) and state and local sources (35%). The three new Homes are slated to receive more than $80 million in U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) State Home Construction Grants.
