Byron High School Referendum Projects
In November 2021, the Byron Public School district community voted to approve a $44 million referendum. The district broke ground on Thursday for those projects, which include improvements to the administration and community services building, additional classrooms for the high school, a new auditorium, and a new athletic facility for the high school.
The athletic facility consists of a new turf football / soccer field and 9 lane synthetic track with seating for 1,700 fans. A new concessions / ticketing and restrooms building is being constructed to enhance the fan experience. We will also be creating new varsity softball and baseball fields and several practice fields to serve the Byron Athletics programs.
