Children's Limited Stay Unit (LSU)

The Children’s Limited Stay Unit (LSU) project was a $3.6M, 10,000 SF remodel of the Sedation Unit at Children’s Minneapolis campus. This unit was the oldest space in the hospital that still needed a remodel. The new space consists of 14 patient rooms, three of which are isolation rooms. It also houses two nurse stations, as well as supporting rooms, lounges, break areas, etc. The project took seven months to complete.

The Limited Stay Unit is a space where adolescents who only need to stay in the hospital for a short period of time receive treatment. Newly renovated, it will provide Children’s with even more opportunity to provide award-winning, exceptional care to their patients.
