Frauenshuh Cancer Center Parking Ramp

The 600,000 sq. ft. parking ramp is a six-level structure with 1,700 stalls. It's a cast-in-place post-tension concrete ramp with precast panel architectural aluminum tube and curtain wall facade. The ramp has three stairways, a three-car traction elevator shaft with glass backed cars and a gas-fired 20-ton snow melt system. Knutson self-performed the carpentry, concrete, masonry, precast and general labor for the project.

This project received LEED^® Silver certification. The project also received innovation in design credits for exemplary performance in regional material usage and construction waste management.
