We are excited to announce that Knutson has been selected for the $37M Hennepin County Medical Examiner project. The new facility, located in Minnetonka, MN, includes 64,000 SF in two connected wings for the comprehensive Medical Examiner team, including autopsy bays, body freezers, coolers, office space, conference rooms, a mechanical penthouse, loading docks, and a new access road. The project also includes demolition of four existing structures on site, along with construction of several new retaining walls.

Dr. Andrew Baker – Hennepin County Medical Examiner – is internationally renowned as one of the most distinguished researchers in the medical examiner field. The new facility will provide Dr. Baker and his team a new state-of-the-art laboratory facility, as well as a setting for professional medical examiner development and training.
