This project for Xcel Energy delivered a new 131,144-square-foot service center in Chanhassen on a 23-acre site, serving as a consolidated hub for electric distribution operations. The facility replaced and unified two aging service centers previously located in Shorewood and Waconia, enhancing operational efficiency and service response throughout the Southwest Metro communities. Strategically positioned near densely populated areas within the service territory and with convenient highway access, the new service center strengthens Xcel Energy’s ability to support continued regional growth and reliability.
