Amy Schilling

Amy joined Knutson as a Marketing Coordinator in 2014, quickly rising through the ranks to lead Knutson’s global marketing portfolio with her empowering and synergetic leadership style. As Marketing Director, she is the company’s highest-ranking marketing employee, overseeing all marketing aspects of the negotiated pursuit process and playing an integral role in setting marketing strategy to support Knutson’s strategic plan while ensuring comprehensive brand management and continued community outreach efforts. During her tenure at Knutson, she has developed a highly effective marketing team that is dedicated to communicating the company’s vision and values while also creating a sense of teamwork among all employees and project partners throughout the pursuit process and beyond. Individually, Amy has contributed to over $1 billion in Knutson’s project awards, including the state’s largest K-12 referendum project, which was awarded in 2023.

A passionate leader and dynamic marketer, Amy pursued a degree in Marketing Communications and Art from University of Wisconsin River Falls before graduating with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Visual Communications and Graphic Design from Brown College. She serves as a committee member and leadership panelist of Knutson’s Women’s Employee Resource Group, is involved with The Knutson Experience group, was an inaugural member of the first Knutson Development Academy leadership cohort, and partakes in several local volunteer opportunities each year including Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build and Hearts & Hammers.

Amy lives in Lakeville with her husband, Robert, and their two children, Isla and Emma. Outside of work she is proud to be a world traveler, dance and cheer mom, and diehard Minnesota Vikings fan.
