Lee Maxwell

Lee joined Knutson in October 2022 as a Project Manager, being promoted to the role of Operations Manager of the Iowa region in November 2023. He has over 10 years of relevant experience and has worked primarily in the K-12 market during his time at Knutson, helping with projects like Clear Creek Amana Elementary School.

In his role, Lee helps lead the Iowa team’s operations across several departments, serving as the designated leader of Knutson’s southern-most office while also delivering The Knutson Experience to Knutson’s customers, partners, and employees. He enjoys problem-solving and believes his ability to remain jovial and focused in the face of difficulty makes him an asset to the teams he works with.

Lee holds a B.S. in Project Management from Colorado Technical University as well as an associate degree in Alternative Energy and Distribution from Kirkwood Community College. He is also PMP certified and is involved with the Master Builders of Iowa.

Lee lives in Moscow with his wife, KC, and their two children, Archie and Claire. Outside of work, he is a major sports fan and can usually be found spending time with his family on the farm.
