Knutson Recognized as Associated General Contractors of Minnesota’s Longest Continuous Member

On January 17, 2024, the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Minnesota held their annual AGC Honors award celebration at the St. Paul Event Center. Several Knutson Construction employees were in attendance when the company was recognized as AGC’s Longest Continuous Member, achieving 100 years of membership in 2024.

When accepting the award, Knutson President Brendan Moore spoke to the many benefits of Knutson’s longstanding partnership with AGC, including the association’s advocacy efforts to ensure Safety in all work, the ability to consult with other members on critical industry-specific issues, and their continued commitment to the growth of general contractors. He also acknowledged AGC’s diversity initiatives as being crucial to the success of the construction industry, and voiced appreciation for the numerous leadership opportunities and programs provided by AGC.

“It is obvious that AGC is devoted to ensuring the health and sustainability of Minnesota’s construction industry,” said Moore. “We are proud to support them in their efforts, and wholly appreciative of this recognition.”

Other Knutson representatives in attendance included Chris Lyles, Project Executive; Amy Schilling, Marketing Director; Quentin Knaak, Senior Project Manager; Ramona Wilson, Diversity Director; and Sean Dols, General Superintendent.

Each year, the AGC Honors event focuses on bringing together industry leaders and change-makers to celebrate the stellar work that has been completed within the last year as well as the decades before.
